Most of what a Genesis owner experiences after the sale is designed to be invisible. That is the point. The concierge and roadside programs are built to keep the ownership experience quiet, so the car stays the thing you notice.
Here is what is actually included, and how it works in practice from Norman.
Service Valet: the appointment that comes to you
For scheduled maintenance during the coverage window, Genesis Service Valet sends a technician to your home or office, collects the vehicle, and leaves a comparable Genesis loaner in its place. The car returns washed. You do not visit the dealership. You do not rearrange your afternoon.
In Norman and across the OKC metro, this is the part of ownership that surprises people first. A partner at a downtown firm can hand off keys at the curb on Britton Road, keep a full calendar of depositions, and have the car back before dinner. A physician at Norman Regional can schedule a pickup between rounds. The service is complimentary within the program window, which includes scheduled maintenance for the first three years or 36,000 miles on new Genesis models. Confirm current terms with us when you take delivery — the program has evolved, and we would rather quote you the specifics than approximate them here.
Owners of the G90 and GV80 tend to use Service Valet most; owners of the G70 often discover it a few months in and wonder why they waited.
Genesis Connected Services and the concierge line
Every new Genesis includes a complimentary trial of Connected Services, which routes through the infotainment screen and a dedicated button in the overhead console. Press it and you reach a live agent — not a menu tree — who can book dinner reservations, send navigation destinations directly to the car, arrange hotel bookings on a road trip, or help locate the nearest charger for an electrified model.
In everyday use, the concierge function reveals itself in small ways. You are heading to Tulsa for a Saturday evening and cannot remember the name of the restaurant your colleague mentioned. Press the button, describe it, and the destination arrives in the head-up display before you reach the turnpike. The detail rewards a second look.
What Connected Services also handles
- Remote start, lock, and climate preconditioning through the MyGenesis app
- Automatic collision notification, which contacts emergency services if airbags deploy
- SOS emergency assistance from the overhead console
- Vehicle diagnostics, service reminders, and the ability to schedule service through the app
- Stolen vehicle recovery coordination with law enforcement
Roadside assistance: five years, day or night
Genesis Roadside Assistance is included for five years with unlimited mileage on new vehicles. It is available 24 hours a day, and it covers the situations that tend to happen at the least convenient time.
- Towing to the nearest Genesis dealer for warranty-related issues, or to a destination of your choice within program guidelines
- Battery jump-start at your location
- Flat tire service, including mounting the spare or arranging transport
- Lockout assistance when keys are locked inside the vehicle
- Fuel delivery if you run out on the road
- Trip interruption benefits if a covered mechanical issue occurs more than 150 miles from home, including reimbursement for lodging, meals, and alternate transportation up to program limits
For the Electrified GV70, Electrified G80, and GV60, roadside also includes charging-related support — a flatbed to the nearest DC fast charger or dealer if the vehicle depletes its battery on the road. Genesis publishes full program details at genesis.com, and specifics vary by model year and market.
How it fits together on an ordinary week
The programs are separate on paper. In practice they overlap in ways an owner rarely has to think about.
A Tuesday example: the maintenance-due indicator appears on the cluster of a GV70. The MyGenesis app suggests a Service Valet appointment. You accept a Thursday morning window. Thursday arrives, a technician meets you at your office in downtown OKC, hands you the loaner keys, and drives your GV70 to Norman. Mid-afternoon, on the way back to you, a nail finds a rear tire. Roadside dispatches, the spare goes on, and the car still arrives before your last meeting. You did not make a phone call. You approved a text.
That is the design intent. The team at Genesis of Norman handles the coordination; the technology handles the paperwork; the car goes back to being a car.
Enrolling and using the services
Enrollment happens at delivery. We pair the MyGenesis app to the vehicle, confirm the primary driver's contact preferences, and demonstrate the overhead console — how the SOS button, the concierge button, and the service button each connect to a different live team. Most owners use one of the three within their first month.
If you are earlier in the process and comparing what ownership looks like across the lineup — the G80, the GV70, the G90, or one of the electrified models — the concierge and roadside programs are worth understanding before you sign. They shape ownership more than most spec-sheet items do. Our current new inventory is a reasonable place to start; a conversation is a better one.
We invite you to a private, unhurried drive at Genesis of Norman, and a walk-through of the ownership programs that come with the car. Schedule online or call ahead, and we will have the model you are considering ready.
